What does a great Software Development Engineer, Advisor or a C/C++ Programmer do?

The Programmer will be responsible for coding, testing, and analyzing application software; support existing business systems applications; consult with all levels of application developers to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions; support the designing and documentation of technical requirements for business applications.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Extensive IT Experience and lead other developers and guide them on system architecture and design.
• Develop high quality applications with knowledge of real-time data transaction processing.
• Programming and delivery of C/C++ applications in AIX/Unix environment
• Work with other groups and teams to coordinate effort and recommend technical solutions by understanding other up and down stream systems flows and requirements.
• Knowledge of Unix operating systems and C/C++, advanced shell scripting.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues
• Knowledge of concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.
• Understanding of application maintenance procedures
• College level education at least a Bachelor's in systems and software development
