At GDIT, our employees are driven, resourceful, and unwavering. As a Software Developer or a UI/UX professional supporting Defense Health, you will be trusted to build organizational capability to define/shape user experience for Defense Health products.

Our work depends on a Software Developers of All Levels joining our team to support Defense Health activities at San Antonio, TX, Rosslyn, VA, and remote locations.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating with Defense Health to transform health IT application and end user experience.
• Own product UI/UX deliverables for each journey
• Design, test, build and maintain the user facing components of software applications
• Ensuring the application of best practice human centered design throughout the product lifecycle and across all digital touchpoints
• Track and report on outcomes and success metrics
• Your success will be measured through KPIs and improvements to Defense Health products and customer satisfaction scores.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High School Degree or higher education
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software development and/or UI/UX design
• Technical skills
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, SQL, NoSQL, Python, Java, .Net, C#, other
• Security clearance level for software developers, public trust for UI/UX professionals
• Experience developing and delivery Health IT applications and tools in a DoD environment
