SAIC's Software Developer will deliver development, programmatic, and technical support in the operation and maintenance of systems across the enterprise. The Software Developer will document requirements to enable the construction of an architecture and design to meet our needs. To verify functionality of the applications/software, the Software Developer will aid in the testing of the applications and write automated unit tests to confirm the correct operation of code. The Software Developer will also assist in digital forensics investigations to identify vulnerabilities or threat vectors in applications and systems.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Note that education can be substituted in lieu of relevant experience.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in software development
- Programming with languages such as Java or Ruby
- Developing and maintaining web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Apache HTTPD and Apache Tomcat
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining applications on Window and Linux Servers
- Utilizing Git
Desired Qualifications:
- Architecting and developing applications in AWS
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining databases such as MySQL or MariaDB
- Working with DevOps tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Developing and maintaining applications written in languages such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, .NET, Angular, React, or Vue
