The Application Developer is responsible for building, testing and maintenance of internal business software applications. Building will include gathering of requirements, design, writing code and testing. In this role, you will work with quality assurance and senior IT to ensure reliability and integrity of all software projects and you will work with other groups inside the business to assist in requirements gathering and development of functional specs. The Application Developer is expected to work directly with API customers to assist in isolating existing technical issues, identifying potential technical issues, and producing reports and ad-hoc data retrieval.

Here's an idea of some of your daily responsibilities:

• Write queries against SQL Server databases for reporting and data retrieval.
• Build reports and user interfaces that can be integrated with internally developed web applications.
• Become familiar with advanced querying techniques in C# (LINQ and Lambda).
• Work with QA, IT management and any stakeholders involved to clear blocking issues.
• Act as a technical resource to assist users and customers as appropriate.
• Participate in internal planning, risk and compliance teams.

Here are some of the skills you bring:

• Practical knowledge of development tools (Visual Studio, SSMS).
• Source control and agile project management experience (JIRA, TFS).
• Expertise in ANSI SQL, functions, stored procedures, views, and referential integrity constraints.
• Ability to analyze and tune complex SQL statements.
• Strong customer empathy and customer experience sensitivity.
