Your Role and Responsibilities

Job Duties:
As a core member of the test automation team, you will be expected to work in a collaborative environment developing test strategies and framework that ensures the best quality. You will be collaborating with cross-functional team members on story development, from before definition through final product launch. You will be performing exploratory testing using industry leading practices. You will own creating framework and automated tests for feature testing to ensure we deliver the right product to our customer, from designing test planning/test strategy, executing test plan, bug triage, coordinating with partners/communicating with stakeholders, and help provide feature sign-off.

About the Team
We, the IBM Flash Core Module team are pioneers in bringing computational storage devices with bleeding-edge QLC technology to the Enterprise Storage Industry. A closely knit, high performing team, the FCM team is often credited with making the impossible possible.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in professional software development experience
• Programming experience in automation development and modern language such as Python (preferred) and C
• 1+ years developing automation environments
• Experience in creating / updating automated test cases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving and independent thinking skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and automation tools, with demonstrated QA experience in software development
• Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results
• Creativity and initiative to improve test coverage, effectiveness and test process
