Job Purpose
What does a great Software Developer do?
The most important aspect of this role is the ability to provide a solution even if there are no explicit instructions available. You would be helping our team develop and support applications that are focused on easing the burden on our finance and accounting partners.
The role requires the ability to understand the technical aspects of the application and communicate the nuances with our business partners. You would be a bridge between the source code and the users.
Must have skills & experience:
- 2 to 4 years of technically strong .NET (C#)/SQL backend developer with experience in working on large scale projects
- Build and deploy ETL process using T-SQL (complex stored procedures, triggers), data conversion to and from XML, flat files and proprietary formats using SSIS packages
- Good Performance tuning skills using SQL server profiler, performance monitor, database engine tuning advisor and execution plans
- Experience working with API's and web services
- Experience with Microsoft Team foundation server for version management
- Experience in Powershell, PowerBI will be an advantage
Preferred Skills and Experience:• Two years working with SQL databases
