Software Architect, Lead
The Challenge:

Are you passionate about crafting an amazing user experience? We're looking for software developers who will use equal parts skill and vision to build an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency.

We need an experienced front end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to solve problems in law enforcement by collaborating with a development team to build a security system with user centric design. You'll coordinate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years of experience with Java, .NET, or Angular
  • Experience with software systems for DoD and law enforcement customers
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, and CouchDB
  • Experience with leading software development and architecture efforts for DoD customers
  • Experience in performing code reviews and mentoring software engineers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with analyzing static code and supporting the remediation of findings from code scans
  • Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Rancher
  • Experience with Oracle cloud implementations
  • Knowledge of the DoD software development practices
  • Knowledge of static code analysis capabilities
  • Knowledge of the DoD IT and security policies

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 120,000 to 150,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
