Exciting opportunity to join the Integration Solutions Service (ISS) organization, securely connecting global stakeholders to mission-critical data. This position is for a Software Architect (Computing Architect), and will be focused on delivering business value outcomes from Application Integration and Development using a toolkit that includes Micro services, APIM, Streaming, SOA/Orchestration, Block-chain, Managed File Transfer, and more.Formal experience as a Software Architect is helpful, but not required. The ideal candidate is able to manage a wide breadth of competing priorities, and is eager make a difference by identifying and executing new opportunities that further Boeing Information Technology. The ideal candidate is also familiar with Enterprise Cloud, Containerization, Automation & CI/CD, and/or DevSecOps.Position Responsibilities:

• Defines requirements and designs and verifies routine architecture, data and information management systems and components.
• Prepares design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements. Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle.
• Develops and maintains architecture views and models.
• Performs assessments of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives.
• Performs assessment of product suitability for integration into delivery system environments.
• Drafts data and information management products and service standards.
• Assists with assessment of impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle.
• Supports metric development and management to support quality in delivery and sustainment.
• Operates using Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe®), both independently and as a team.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Track record of solving business needs with Information Technology Systems and Integration delivery;
• Experienced with Technical Writing, Process Analysis, Systems Analysis, and Design Standards;
• Data Fluency and management, including data architecture, mapping, and transformation modeling;
• Successfully delivers working software in an Agile environment (Scrum / SAFe®), both independently and as a team;

• Solid business acumen, teaming, and excellent stakeholder communication and empathy;
• Flexibility, Self-Reliance, Resourcefulness, Organization, and Continuous Learning.
