Site Reliability Engineering Manager - (REMOTE)
SailPoint is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering Manager to join the SailPoint IdentityNow reliability engineering team.
This is a unique and challenging role in which the successful applicant will lead a group of engineers in studying, quantifying, and improving performance and operational stability of SailPoint's cloud hosted IdentityNow product. The team is dynamic and fast moving in implementing tests that drive concurrent and high-volume load against our systems and analyzing the software and infrastructure environment that supports the platform.
As a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering you will drive innovation, empower and motivate a team of site reliability engineers (SREs) in an agile environment. You will coach and develop SREs to solve complex production problems, evolve incident and problem management with sophisticated automation to autonomously manage the environment. Interact with engineering leaders, developers, and architects to make our services resilient, continuously measure and improve the quality and reliability of SailPoint's SaaS services and products.
What You'll Make Happen
- Coach the team on SRE principles: automation, observability, toil reduction, self-healing, and root cause analysis
- Manage high-visibility projects delivery, estimation, schedule, risks, and dependencies
- Establish standard practices and processes for planning and prioritizing reliability work
- Collaborate with internal customers, supporting deep-dive discussions across partner teams and ensure we drive product quality and reliability
- Drive alignment across development and other organizations around reliability initiatives
- Balance competing priorities to ensure we effectively ship new features while resolving defects and managing technical debt
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a team of high performing SREs

Requirements
- 5+ years in an engineering leadership role, preferably working on a SaaS product.
- 5+ years of hands on experience as a Software, DevOps, or Reliability Engineer.
- Experience leading or managing several of the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineer in Test, Performance Testing, Product Security Engineering, Test Automation, Compliance
- Deep knowledge of agile processes and workflows.
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field, MBA or other relevant Master's Degree preferred.
