As a member on our team, you will contribute to engineering complex workloads on cloud platforms, on-prem and public. You will have the opportunity to help execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad adoption of cloud-based solutions across Consumer Bank products. The ability to connect modern engineering practices and methodologies with measurable business value is critical to a software engineer.
The ideal candidate has past experience engineering solutions on private and/or public cloud platforms. You will enjoy building upon your existing technical skills while developing new ones.
Responsibilities:

• Develop cloud native solutions leveraging IaC, Containerization, Devops methodologies to enable consumable engineered patterns
• Design, code, test, and deliver software to facilitate modernization, automation and remove toil
• Implement performance tests, identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization and capacity demands, presents solutions for continuous improvements
• Participate in deep design reviews with application and platform teams throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability, speed and scale
• Mature application deployment patterns in support of greater stability, control and speed

Qualifications:

• Working experience in at least two software programming languages and experience in large scale software development (Python, Java, Go, TFE, scripting, etc.)
• Experience with IaC - Terraform or related
• Experience with containerization - docker, k8s
• Expert with CI/CD and DevOps toolchains
• Hands-on experience of AWS solutions
• Experience in end-to-end systems automation, integration and orchestration
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
