Torch Technologies is seeking a junior level SharePoint Application Developer to participate in the design, implementation, testing, documentation, training, and deployment of a Continuous Development Integration (CDI) tracking tool for the Missile Defense Agency. The candidate will consult with engineers and end-users and develop/implement a technical design that meets business needs and execution. The candidate will independently lead activities related to the SharePoint application and expected to become knowledgeable in all functional and technical application aspects.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities and areas of support include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with engineers and end-users to understand legacy system functionality and user requirements to design, develop, and implement a SharePoint solution
  • Work alongside Web DevOps team members and present legacy migration efforts.
  • Develop solutions for SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2019, and SharePoint Online
  • Lead and/or participate in requirements elicitation meetings, review boards, functional demonstrations



Job Requirements

  • Required:
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Proven track record to working to strict deadlines
    • Self-management and strong organization skills
    • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
    • Competent project management skills
    • Proactively troubleshoot and overcome technical problems.
    • Work with data to create advanced reporting solutions.
    • Experience with documentation and excellent note taking skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to obtain DOD Secret security clearance
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Minimum 2 years' experience preferred
    • Experience developing with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
    • Working knowledge of DoD security policies and procedures preferred
    • Experience with the Missile Defense Agency, operations center, or a ballistic missile defense system
    • Active DOD Secret security clearance or higher.
