GDIT is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to help supportan exciting new CloudServiceOfferingcontract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS). This position is contingent upon contract tasking and will require the employee to report onsite in either Fort Meade, MD or Chantilly, VA.

The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for deploying and configuring ServiceNow to establish an integrated service desk for the DEOS program. The Developer will work with stakeholders to identify requirements, propose solutions, and subsequently implement the capabilities in ServiceNow.As theprimary implementer for ServiceNow, you will be trusted to configure and maintain the environment to support multiple government agencies, and to assist those agencies' users with their ServiceNow platform needs.Experience integrating ScienceLogic with ServiceNow is a plus.

In this role, a typical day you will:
• Administer the availability, security and maintenance of ServiceNow platforms
• Collaborate with DoD IT Infrastructure and Network teams to troubleshoot Platform issues
• Respond to requests for training and/or technical support for Agency ServiceNow users
• Create ticket queues, Single Pane of Glass (SPoG) dashboard, notifications, and reports to meet customer requirements and drive efficient operations.
• Identify and establish service desk intake systems (call, chat, email)
• Assist users to customize the platform, create and configure rules, policies, actions, macros, formatters and other ServiceNow module features in response to Agency requests for assistance
• Participate in planning for and executing on Continuity of Operations and Disaster Recovery plans
• Backup, archive and restore applications and data
• Participate in estimating project work and report out on risks, status and issues

Additionally, GDIT is seeking a candidate that has integrated ServiceNow with other instances of ServiceNow and alternative ITSM tools to delivery an integrated service desk model.Additional responsibilities include but are non limited to:
• Viewed as a technical expert or advisor for one or more applications.
• Participates on (and may lead) projects where analysis of systems or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business process, system process, and industry standards.
• Regularly mentors and reviews work of less experienced team members.
• Executes schedules, costs and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion.
• Initiates corrective action to stay on project schedules.
• Performs all tasks in the development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Supports existing applications including developing fixes as necessary and providing support for complex issues.
• Gathers, understands, and documents user requirements and technical specifications.
• Follows all software requirements development standards.
• Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
• Creates and helps maintain technical and end-user documentation for new and existing applications.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance
• IAT Level II Certification
• BA/BS Degree
• 8years of experience(additional work experience can be considered in lieu of degree)
• 3+ years managing Office 365 services in a large-scale environment
• Experience with commercial cloud services
• Ability tothrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
• Able to report onsite as indicated above

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP cloud services
• Experience with Agile software development
