Summary of Role:

Responsible for developing solution based on business requirements in the RTX ServiceNow platform modules, workflow, and integration possibilities. Review and understand client specific processes and overall performance, identify, and create solutions to improve results, processes and data, while meeting stakeholder goals and expectations.

Responsibilities:
• Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled job, import sets and transform maps, ACLs, and notifications
• Expert in JavaScript, JQuery, prototype and Jelly scripting used in ServiceNow
• Develop existing and custom applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applications
• Work with process managers to fully understand business functionality, pain points, and areas of improvements
• Develop necessary development documentation as needed e.g., project plan, technical design, developer notes, user manual etc.
• Performs migration activities Dev to QA, QA to Prod.
• Knowledge of working with different kind of scripts in ServiceNow and their order of execution
• Coordinates installation of ServiceNow upgrades and/or service packs. Develops and manages the preparation of systems, test criteria and control for upgrades, service packs, new functionality, enhancements, or error correction
• Ability to quickly learn and take advantage of new technologies and concepts
• Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate quality technical and functional system specifications
• Experienced in ServiceNOW modules

Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow & ITIL methodologies
• Knowledge of how all ITIL practices work together to provide effective service product lifecycle and create business value and positive customer outcomes
• Advanced Analysis skills and working with Architects to convey stakeholder functional and technical needs
• Experience with small, mid, and large-scale organizational projects
• Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Experience in agile software methodologies with excellent communication skills
• Strong time management, managing multiple types of scope at the same time
• Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to frequent change

Education

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 7 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.

Required Status:

  • US Citizen or US Person required as work may involve visibility to ITAR related projects.
