The Windows Engineering team has engineered one of the largest Citrix Virtual Desktop solution in the industry, delivering a cloud-based desktop computing service for on-premise and remote work, serving the entire firm globally across all business functions, from operations, finance, engineering to front-line trading, sales and advisory. The team also architects and engineers the Microsoft operating systems and enterprise products such as Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 and Microsoft SCCM/MECM, third-party enterprise VDI products such as Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp, as well as multiple custom in-house systems management and software delivery platforms.

You will work with a global team of highly motivated platform engineers and software developers as a Senior Windows Cloud Engineer.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

As a Senior Windows Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the Corporate Workplace Solutions (CWS) engineering team. This is a senior role in the Windows Engineering function, responsible to architect, design and deliver on our most critical roadmap initiatives.

  • Engage with all major public cloud providers; Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to assess capabilities against requirements
  • Participate in full platform product lifecycle engineering for Cloud Desktop: analysis, technical design, testing, release, and support.
  • Evaluate and test commercial Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions to help drive "Buy vs. Build " decisions
  • Provide technical solution and establish best practices for building and operating public cloud based solutions
  • Engage engineering stakeholders, such as Networking and Technology Risk, on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
  • Engage clients to understand customer needs, make recommendations and help define forward roadmap
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and transformation, as needed.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and issues


Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in at least one public cloud platform (AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience with one or more scripting/programming technologies: Java, .NET, Python, C#, PowerShell, SQL
  • Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform
  • Experience with Cloud migration, cloud security principals and automation
  • Experience engineering, managing and supporting environments involving VDI (Citrix, RDS), and Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms (Windows 10 and Server 2016+)
  • Experience in supporting secure infrastructure solutions involving DMZ Environment
  • Strong technical ability, willing to learn and evolve your skills with advances in cloud technology
  • Analytical mindset, creativity and commercially focus


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid Windows OS internals including Group Policies, Windows Defender, Windows Networking stack, OS build engineering and deployment
  • Experience with Windows Systems Management and Patch management Technologies (SCCM, MECM, Group Policy and WSUS)
  • Familiar with Linux, Middleware, Networks, Storage, Email, Mobile Applications, Voice/Video/Multimedia Systems and Market Data Systems
  • Experience with migration to public cloud while meeting regulatory requirements
  • Experience in automation, anomaly detection and predictive analysis
  • Enterprise-level Financial Services experience is preferred
  • Team player who is able to work in a fast paced, environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to work with remote counterparts internally and manage external vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
