What you’ll do
- Lead web projects as a technical expert and architect for changes, updates, and additions to our website properties
- Help manage the back end of web properties—database, server integration, all technical aspects of CMS architecture
- Manage the marketing stack as relevant to web properties (hosting, CMS, cookie consent, localization, personalization, tagging)
- Keep current on emerging web technologies
- Manage localization technical implementation
- Validate solutions in terms of technology, cost, and scalability
- Act as primary liaison with and proactively engage the Security team, continually ensuring a secure architecture across web properties.
- Establish and ensure coding excellence and best practices
- Interface frequently with internal stakeholders and internal customers: web production and development teams, UX, and web strategy.

Who you are
- Experience working in software development with one or more of the following programming languages; PHP, Python, JavaScript
- Experience in working with back end technologies and/or backend end frameworks: NodeJS, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience in working with front end technologies and/or front end frameworks: React, GraphQL, NextJS, TypeScript.
- Digital marketing knowledge and experience in multichannel/digital marketing preferred
- WordPress Experience
- WP Engine Experience
- AWS Experience
- CI/CD tools experience: Buddy, Jenkins, GitLab
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong project management skills to meet goals within constraints of time and budget
- Adept at vendor/agency management to maintain healthy partnerships and deliver technical excellence
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years experience working in web architecture and planning
