About the job
The Red Hat Technology Partner Program team is looking for a Senior Technical Partner Development Manager to join our global ecosystem team. In this role, you will help Red Hat build and maintain a solid ecosystem of partners for the application development and data software partner ecosystem. You should be an experienced technical business development professional who is able to facilitate and maintain a proactive, targeted ecosystem development with priority partners within the application development and data ecosystem. As a Senior Technical Partner Development Manager, you will work closely with other teams and functions across the organization. You'll become part of the Technology Partner Program team that offers partners the expertise, tools, and certification offerings needed to successfully participate in the commercial ecosystem. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Evangelize Red Hat's strategic viewpoint for the application development and data ecosystem to partners and customers
  • Manage the proactive recruiting, onboarding, support, and promotion of assigned priority technology partners
  • Participate in defining the requirements and roadmaps for partner offerings for certification and joint go-to-market strategies
  • Participate in defining marketing positioning, promotion, and business development plans with priority partners for their certified offerings
  • Lead the development and continuous updating of Red Hat's view of assigned market segments, most relevant partner offerings, and competitive analysis and its importance to Red Hat
  • Manage the priority and coverage process with all involved Red Hat's teams for assigned market segments
  • Oversee the cross-functional collaboration on proactive, high-touch partner recruitment, onboarding, support, and promotion
  • Enable and coach virtual teams guiding ecosystem development in the assigned market segments
  • Track and report partner engagement and progress for assigned market segments


What you will bring

  • 5+ years of experience evangelizing leading technology to key partners and customers
  • Defined viewpoint and relationships with application development and data market and technology leaders
  • Conceptual knowledge of modern cloud technologies like containers and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with independent software vendors (ISVs) and value-added partner types
  • Ability to work across multiple teams within Red Hat
  • Creative and curious with a sense of humor and a professional attitude
