The Raytheon Technologies Systems Engineering team has a contingent job opening for a highly skilled SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER in ORLANDO, FL to lead and support various phases of the engineering lifecycle of an upcoming Cyber Training program, including systems analysis, operational concept development, requirements development and maintenance, conducting trade studies, design, implementation, integration and verification.

JOB DUTIES:
The Senior Systems Engineer will use critical thinking and problem solving skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent judgment, reasoning, and decision making abilities in a dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities and deadline constraints requiring rapid turnarounds.

Primary Responsibilities include:
* Support various phases of the engineering lifecycle
* Supports the analysis and maintains System and Product (or Component) level requirements baselines
* Support Agile methodologies based on industry best practices for all program development efforts
* Support sprint planning and review sessions, daily sprint standups, sprint retrospectives and sprint demonstrations
* Support the efforts associated with the development, dissemination, engineering, management, and maintenance of the program architecture, components, and documentation
* Collaborate with other development teams to bring new features and services into production
* Provide support to development teams that use the automated infrastructure
* Resolve specific identified problems, conduct research of new capabilities, tools, and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) for potential cyber team use.
* Support the evolution of the program architecture over time to address new requirements and to keep pace with the advancing technical environment through the system engineering process.
* Support the research and evaluate the existing architecture and recommend and implement modifications which enable the Customer's ability to continually integrate new vendor products.

SECURITY CLEARANCE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
- Candidate must be a United States Citizen, able to obtain/maintain a US Government security clearance (up to TS/SCI) and also eligible to obtain any necessary Export Authorization.
- An active/current clearance up to TS/SCI, eligible for crossover, is highly preferred.
- This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $12K for a person with a TS/SCI clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, preferred); OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, preferred
* Proficient in Agile processes and tools (i.e. Jira, git, BitBucket, Confluence, Artifactory tool suite etc)
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Experience with Agile sprint methodology, to support the product backlog definition, attend sprint reviews and support Agile planning cycles with the goal of having a shippable product at the end of each sprint.
* Experience interfacing with stakeholders from customers, technical management, and Engineering disciplines to resolve issues and ensure an optimal balance between cost, schedule and technical integrity.
* Experience managing/creating application architecture/designs
* Experience supporting the development of Cyber Training system requirements for development, test, integration, interoperability, support, and delivery of software, data, and documentation to the Government.
* Experience supporting the Customer Architecture Working Group (AWG)
* Experience supporting the establishment of test cases (in terms of inputs, expected results, and evaluation criteria) and establish a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) between the test case and the system requirements, for conducting the test, and test data for testing the software corresponding to each software item.
* Experience with Test Readiness Review (TRR) meetings prior to the start of formal test procedure execution with the Product Owners and various Stakeholders.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with dynamic Agile development
* Experience contributing to the architecture/design, development, and testing of requirements of system components
* Experience with best practices in disciplined use of system and model-based engineering, bug tracking, design reviews, and multi-layered testing
* Ability to function well in a creative, high-temp, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic, and multi-disciplinary environment
* Experience in both Windows and Linux/Unix environments
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with model-based system engineering tools (MagicDraw, etc.)
* Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Fisheye, Crucible, Bitbucket, Confluence, Artifactory)
* An active, in-scope and transferrable TS/SCI US security clearance.
