The Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, Systems (ISRS) Mission Directorate is seeking a Senior Algorithm Systems Engineer to provide technical algorithm support and analysis to several programs or Internal Research and Development (IRAD) efforts on the family of Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) programs. This position will reside in the Systems Engineering Center within the Radar Sensor Systems department.
The Senior Algorithm Systems Engineer will work amongst other Systems Engineers on-site and will support the chief engineer, and lead systems engineer. Specific duties may include performance analysis, algorithm development, algorithm analysis, trade study generation, statistical modeling, performance predictions, and data analysis for complex systems using Raytheon Engineering processes and practices. Related day-to-day duties include participating in peer reviews and resolving identified problems. This Systems Engineer will interface with their team lead, team members, and other teams daily, conduct or participate in customer and/or program presentations, and provide task progress status updates and work products to the team lead.

You're highly skilled:
Minimum of five years of experience (or equivalent) to include in the following areas: Signal Processing Algorithms or Models, Image Processing Algorithms or Models
Mathematical problem-solving skills: advanced statistics/probability, FFTs, statistical modeling, data analysis
Computer programming skills: implementation of signal/image processing algorithms in C/C++, Python and/or Matlab
Ability to work as a member of a team
This position requires access to export-controlled Technical Information, hardware, software, and/or services that is restricted to U.S. Citizens
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a DoD Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance within one year of start date

Required Education:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline such as (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.) A related advanced degree is preferred but not required
Desired Education:
Master's degree in a related STEM discipline such as (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline)
