Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, development, testing, integration, operation, and support infrastructure
  • Ability to handle more advanced technical problems and create solutions that solve business problems
  • Independently solves technical issues and able to collaborate and contribute ideas
  • Integrates enterprise components (e.g., reference data, security, messaging) to build larger systems
  • Fully analyze problems, design, develop and test solutions
  • Collaborates with multiple teams including engineering, development, and operations teams
  • Provides balanced decisions regarding technical design and architecture
  • Adheres to architectural design standards, risk management and security policies, data management
  • Other possible functions
    • Technological, Organizational, resource management
    • Budget/Financial Management including Business Case completion


Required Skills

  • Advanced hardware knowledge
  • Advanced capabilities in Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, and automation
  • Advanced virtualization capabilities including VMware, vRO, vRA, & EXSI
  • Proficient in the Microsoft ecosystem including Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, & PowerShell
  • Proficient in the Unix ecosystem including RHEL & bash
  • Familiar in Database Administration including SQL, MSSQL, & PSQL
  • Proficient in system security and entitlements including SSO, Kerberos, & LDAP
  • Proficient in working across large infrastructure environments
  • Proficient in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration
  • Experience in Systems and Application monitoring systems and instrumentation


Bonus Skills

  • Develops integration elements, data models, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
  • Assists in the building of open 3rd-party Software Development Kits (SDKs)


Business Knowledge

  • Proficient in multiple business disciplines, functions and knowledgeable about the business' strategic direction
  • Develops the mind set for risk and control compliance to departmental and companywide standards
  • Works within standards of financial control and budget management
  • Executes within a client centric environment when working with teams and contributors
  • Experience influencing the business' strategic direction

Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
