The Red Hat North America Telco, Media, and Entertainment (TME) Sales team is looking for a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect to join us. In this role, you'll be the front line catalyst with partners, creating possibilities, solving problems, and establishing working relationships with our partners in the TME domain. You will help develop solutions, frameworks, and point of view on open source technology adoption for their customers. You will use your business insight to present compelling business and technical cases to executive and non-executive lT leadership. As a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect, you'll deliver compelling recommendations that will directly result in closing new sales and present the application and ROI of recommended solutions. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Gain deep understanding of our customers' business and IT environments
  • Act as a trusted adviser to the partner and assist technology stakeholders in setting and delivering on expectations
  • Collaborate with sales executives in assessing the potential application of Red Hat's solutions
  • Build long-lasting relationships with Red Hat customers
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Red Hat Openshift Container Platform, especially on the infrastructure side with special focus on networking
  • Create and demonstrate proofs of concepts
  • Educate other presales and sales teams on best practices, and field and technical learnings
  • Build multi-product complex solutions that address customer use cases
  • Conduct practical workshops, webinars, and whiteboard sessions


What you will bring

  • 5+ years of experience working in software engineering, consulting, sales engineering, or a solutions architecture role
  • Good presentation skills; ability to give stage and conference presentations to small and large groups of mixed business, technical, management, and leadership audiences
  • Experience with agile software development, DevOps, and related tools for fast application development and deployment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel within the region, following Red Hat's COVID-19 guidelines
