Point B’s technology practice builds and operates technology-enabled products and solutions to solve our clients’ biggest challenges. Our technology solutions help our clients’ win in the marketplace, drive exceptional customer and employee experience, and scale their operations. We are looking for Senior Solution Engineers to join our team to build and deliver on our technology products and solutions. 

Analyze, architect, design, and develop software solutions for our clients and for Point B 
Lead and advise clients on the planning, delivery, and management of innovative technology initiatives 
Design and build technology products and solutions that enable Point B to serve customers at scale 
Collaborate with Point B’s service and market teams to identify opportunities to design and deliver technology capabilities and offerings 
Teach software development techniques and practices to other team members, and provide ongoing coaching 
Stay on top of emerging technology trends, and methodologies

Proven yourself as a subject matter expert with 8+ years of experience developing software solutions for business users, including all aspects of the software development lifecycle 
Strong knowledge and practical experience with designing, building, deploying, and maintaining business applications in the AWS Cloud. Experience working with containers, elastic compute, cloud storage, notifications and other cloud services 
Strong software development skills and API development using Python or comparable languages 
Demonstrated experience architecting and developing software for data lifecycle and data architecture on SQL and NoSQL data platforms
Thorough understanding of data analysis, data visualizations, ML, and system architectures 
Practical experience working within CI/CD frameworks for building and deploying applications 
Serves as a client’s expert leader through all phases of a project. Operates effectively with senior leaders at our clients 
Builds and manages stakeholder relationships, including business customers, partners, users, project and program team members, and management leaders. 
Communicates clearly and proactively to project team and client stakeholders 
Develops and manages program/project structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, etc. 
Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies, and recommends key decisions for projects. 
Provides oversight to other team members for project work 
Earned a B.A. or B.S. degree in a quantitative subject (computer science, engineering, mathematics, sciences, economics, etc.) 
Available to work remotely and travel up to 20% or as needed

The estimated salary range for this role is $113,000 - $187,000 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.
Bonuses are awarded at Point B’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.
