Job Description
• Be part of a world-class software engineering team that builds innovative services leveraging Zscaler's ever-growing security and performance data
• Lead the engineering team to deliver SaaS services that are highly scalable, available and fault-tolerant
• Lead all phases of SaaS delivery cycle, from ideation, design, development, test, and deployment.
• Drive functional specifications, assess task requirements, schedule and track, collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams like product management, product support, quality Engineering, SRE, and also external vendors.
• Hire and mentor software developers, dev-test engineers, SRE's fostering a strong culture of diversity, intellectual curiosity, problem-solving, agility and openness
Qualifications
• BS/MS in Computer Science, other engineering/technical degree
• 8+ years of experience in highly technical roles in development or enterprise SaaS at innovative startups or high-growth companies/product-groups.
• At least 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Experience with building and delivering services at scale, leveraging distributed systems architectures.
• Experience with cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP experience preferred)
• Hands-on programming experience in one of the following: Java, Scala, Golang
• Experience with full-stack development - REST APIs, Databases, Serverless computing
• Strong expertise in building and delivering large-scale data driven applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired:

• Experience with big data platforms such as Apache Spark, Big query etc.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML to provide actionable insights
• Experience with network security or network performance analytics
• Experience managing distributed engineering teams
