Description

The Payments team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team as a continuous delivery and Process Improvement Champion! This is an exciting time to join our team as we continue to build our presence in the Fintech industry! Our innovative teams are developing next generation solutions, using cutting edge technologies such as Angular, Docker, OpenShift, MongoDB, Kafka, Java 11 and Spring framework. We are focused on Continuous Delivery and have achieved a high level of automation and take a metrics based approach to process improvement. Our agile environment consists of multiple agile teams working in two week sprints.

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Drive improvements in our SDLC process by leveraging automation and dev ops practices
• Gather, analyze and interpret CD metrics to identify trends and suggest actions for improvement
• Present CD goals and progress
• Design and develop software to enhance our SDLC processes
• Act as the champion for communicating our SDLC processes changes and successes

Requirements

Qualifications / Technologies:

1. Java/Spring

2. Python

3. Relational SQL/ NoSQL Databases (MongoDB)

4. Agile Principles (scrum)

5. CI/CD principles, including automated builds, tests, and deployments

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated project leadership experience.
• 5+ years of object-oriented programming experience
• Proven self-starter who can manage tasks independently
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong Organization and prioritization skills
• Metabase/SQL experience a plus
