Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance the software that controls and automates medical devices.
  • Work with co-located and distributed teams to develop and document software modules/applications using object-oriented principles and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability and schedule goals.
  • Conduct and participate in design, code and test reviews and inspections, ensuring application of software engineering best practices, as well as the feasibility, efficacy and compliance to functional and regulatory standards.
  • Evolve product code quality and internal execution efficiency by implementing object-oriented design principles, refactoring and automated unit testing.
  • Investigate software, hardware and system problems using a variety of techniques, and provide innovative solutions.
  • Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies (FDA and ISO Regulations).
  • Develop, maintain and communicate status for assigned tasks.
  • Participate in all phases of new software development, including requirement specification, design, implementation, software integration and test.



Qualifications:

  • Architecture, design and development of C# based solutions.
  • Multi-threaded, Windows application design, development, integration, testing and documentation.
  • Key concepts in software application design (security, patterns, frameworks, structured code, algorithms, etc.).
  • WPF or UWP UI development.
  • Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • Real-time transaction processing and data persistence using databases.
  • Able to explain difficult or sensitive information and to build consensus.
  • Ability to create technical documents related to SW design and development.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field and 5+ years of experience.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Entity Framework and Dependency Injection.
  • User Experience (UX) / User Interface design and implementation.
  • Understanding of Localization and Internationalization.
  • Modern software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum (ScrumMaster experience a plus).
  • Experience with GitHUB, Jira and Jenkins.
