Job Description

As our Sr Software Engineer, you will be required to design, develop, and provide leadership and support of the Salesforce CRM and Sales Technology portfolio to our business. Our Software Engineer must be hands-on and have proven experience in developing and enhancing Salesforce and sales technology in a global environment. You will also work to understand other business processes internally and how we leverage the Sales Technology platform to design solutions that scale and grow to address those business needs. Our developer must also work within our governance model to ensure continued functionality and overall platform health.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-going development, integration, and administrative support to quickly fix production issues with sales technology and deliver revisions that reduce maintenance effort while enable technology growth and scalability.
  • Work and deliver under tight and ever-changing deadlines with the ability to multi-task.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Sales Technology platform.
  • Participate in technical discussions and lead convergence and agreement on technical solutions.
  • Partner with business representatives to understand and incorporate their needs.
  • Partner with technical teams to listen and incorporate diverse perspectives and influence and negotiate agreement on shared designs and outcomes with those technical partner teams.
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and integrate new technology into solutions that support our business unit stakeholders.
  • Ensure stakeholders are regularly updated on the progress of their request.
  • Manage and enforce the CRM Change Management Process from development sandboxes to Production. Ensure that all necessary changes are documented, reviewed, tested, and approved before being deployed. Provide thought and role leadership to improve our development practices, standards, and workflows.
  • Manage all processes (export reports permission, public chatter groups, Lux Bank privacy rules, etc) to ensure InfoSec and Risk guidelines are being followed and all information is correctly documented to adhere to an audit.
  • Keeping abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality, and the sales technology market, and providing recommendations for process improvements (i.e. Lightning; Continuous Integration; etc).

Technical Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer and sales technology
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II required
  • Experience with AppExchange and other tools like Apttus, Quip, LeanData, Outreach, DocuSign, Gainsight, etc. desired
  • Experience on the Salesforce development platform; specifically creating, adapting and streamlining APEX triggers, classes, methods, controllers, as well as Visualforce pages, API integrations, and the Lightning framework
  • Development experience in Agile-Scrum environment, using Jira, Github, Copado/DevOps tools, required.
  • Develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and JQuery technologies
  • Experience performing administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity, and storage management
  • Strong analytical skills in analyzing complex problems and processes
  • Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in supporting, designing, and developing Salesforce in a large enterprise environment

  • Strong analytical and communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated Salesforce enthusiast who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into system functionality
  • Ability to manage multiple and diverse Salesforce initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle.
  • Project management skills to ensure proposed functionality is implemented in a timely manner.
  • Provide stakeholders with relevant and consistent communication up through the executive level: effort assessments, expectation setting, and stakeholder updates.
  • Strong team player who puts the customer first, be it internal or external customer.
  • Understanding of JavaScript capabilities
  • Understanding of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Features
  • Understanding of Salesforce Change Management
