Job Description
Responsible for designing and implementing components and features of scalable SaaS platform.
Essential Job Functions :

• Designing and developing high-volume, high-performance, high-availability, concurrent Java applications using proven Java frameworks and other JVM based languages and technologies.
• Troubleshooting and fixing issues.
• Writing design documentation, coding, and writing Unit and Integration tests.
• Profiling and troubleshooting large scale concurrent and multi-threaded JVM based languages (Java).
• Bringing new technical ideas, in keeping with latest industry trends, to fruition by prototyping and then incorporating them into the Platform.
• Participating in daily Scrum activities to closely monitor work against schedules and deliverables, providing progress updates and reporting any issues or technical difficulties.

Qualifications:
Required:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field and 5 years of software development experience using Java. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field and 3 years of software development experience using Java.
Experience, which may have been gained concurrently with primary requirement above, must include 3 years of experience with:

• Designing and implementing service-oriented architecture for collaborating applications
• Integrating software components and diagnosing/resolving defects in system integration
• Writing tests to verify that code meets functional requirements, creating and executing test conditions for integration test
• Writing and modifying technical documentation including SQL statements, Stored Procedures, and Functions
• SQL and relational databases, JEE (previously J2EE)

Note: this is a telecommuting position working from home. May reside anywhere in the United States. Less than 10% domestic travel to Interactions LLC offices required.
