Senior Software Engineer - UI / Frontend Role:

We are looking for someone who can help us take our products to the next level. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you have the opportunity to work on either our core design toolkit (StencilJS + WebComponents), on various autonomous frontends with VueJS, Tailwind, and our toolkit (possibly even diving into Micro Frontends if it makes sense)

At times this role will require you to work closely with other domains to better understand what needs to be built and to integrate with their APIs. The primary stack will focus is on NodeJS and optionally TypeScript. If interested, there is an opportunity to work on monolith systems built using Ruby on Rails, Python, etc. The extent of that work could be helping fix and convert legacy frontends that use jQuery, VueJS, and custom CSS builds. 

 

Senior Software Engineer - UI / Frontend Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with a dynamic group of people in various time zones 

  • Build, test, and maintain across the full cycle within a domain 

  • Develop frontend client experiences that delight our users

  • Own development, quality, and maintenance of each frontend 

  • Own security and monitoring on everything developed 

  • Consider user experience in all aspects of development 

  • Opportunity to move across the stack for backend NodeJS development if interested

 

Frontend Software Engineer Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of JavaScript development 

  • 2+ years working professionally with NodeJS 

  • 1+ years working with other languages besides JavaScript

  • Demonstrated knowledge of how distributed and monolithic architectures work 

  • A clear understanding of event driven systems 

  • SOLID grasp of programming paradigms and patterns 

  • Nice to have experience (with one or more): Typescript, React (always good to know more than one framework/library), SOA and Microservice architecture, AWS, Disliking Internet Explorer Kafka, Docker, Ruby on Rails, Flutter, Python
