Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver code to build fantastic APIs, driving best practices and ensuring the development of high-quality code for common assets and framework components
  • Build extensible and reusable UI components and scalable features that are lightweight and fast for the user
  • Be involved in the software lifecycle, from requirements gathering to development, testing and releasing code
  • Partner with product management and engineering leadership to bring creative technology and solutions to solve healthcare problems
  • Provide technical design guidance and contribute to a team of high caliber Engineers by developing test-driven solutions that can be deployed quickly and in an automated fashion
  • Manage and execute against agile plans and set deadlines based on client, business, and technical requirements
  • Drive resolution of technology roadblocks, including code, infrastructure, build, deployment, and operations
  • Advocate for technologies, frameworks, design patterns, processes, and guiding values of front-end engineering
  • Embrace the DevOps mentality by building solutions designed for availability and scalability in an iterative manner
  • Ensure all code adheres to development & security standards Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience using Pythion and or Java
  • 4+ years of experience in CICD like Jenkins and managing multiple K8s environments
  • 2+ years of experience in writing Graph queries
  • 2+ years of experience using Git, Flask, TigerGraphDB
  • Experience with web or mobile development with relation to the User interface, experience and design
  • Experience with Angular, React and/or React Native
  • Experience writing automated unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests
  • Experience working in an agile test-driven development with continuous integration
  • Knowledge and experience in building web services and use and creation of APIs using Spring Framework
  • Excellent understanding of REST protocol and API design

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
