Optum Care Medical Management team is working on an enterprise platform for the Optum Care business. The team is working on building a medical management platform using the latest technologies and the Azure public cloud. Features include but not limited to care coordination, disease management, prior authorizations and utilization management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with Developers, System Analysts, Business Analysts, Technical Delivery Owners, Product Owners and Business SME's to develop a robust Systems Integration test plan in a Scrum agile development environment
• Create test cases, test suites with continuous testing methodology to execute Functional testing, Regression testing and Performance testing
• Build and enhance test automation using Protractor and Cucumber on Angular based application
• Develop and manage automated Performance test process using JMeter
• Perform research and implement open-source innovative tools to help drive accuracy and efficiencies in software testing, monitoring and telemetry
• Responsible for developing test cases, coordinating test data setup, environment readiness, test execution and defects resolution
• Participate and provide input in system analysis, design walkthroughs and present test results to the project teams for acceptance
• Develop innovative ideas / suggestions to resolve software issues / defects
• Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Serves as a leader and mentor junior members of the engineering team to develop and perform as highly as possible
• Lead QA engineers to foster the Quality thru Automation mindset. Review test cases specifications and design documents

Required Qualifications:

• Quality Engineering background with experience / responsible for full life-cycle testing activities (manual and automated) of applications based on defined requirements in identifying and writing / reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results. Perform thorough System, Integration, Regression, Load, Performance and End to End testing
• 6+ years of overall IT experience with the ability to develop test strategy, design test plan, and test cases effectively and independently
• 2+ years of experience ATDD, CI/CD, Dev Ops and AGILE methodologies
• 2+ years of experience in software development/engineering
• 1+ years of experience in Java, Spring, Hasura, Cloud
• 1+ years of experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Typescript, ReactJS, AngularJS, Object oriented design
• Must have experience with 3 or more of the following: Selenium, Java, Maven, Cucumber, RESTful Service Automation, GitHub, Jenkins pipeline for build automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nice to have skills on AWS/Azure, Kafka, MongoDB, Domain and Event Driven Design
• Good understanding of development processes and tools - Sonar and Git
• Ability to Influence the team with lead by example and provide required coaching / mentoring
• Understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, debugging, and configuration management
