Overview

Intuit's Adversary Management team is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer that specializes in data engineering and security application/services development. We are building Intuit's active defense capability using Big Data, AI & Machine Learning to derive insights about Intuit's attack surface, how often it is being attacked, by whom, and why and then building solutions to help other teams across Intuit to make informed risk decisions and delivering better security outcomes for Intuit. What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on full stack software engineering experience in a micro service architecture
  • 5+ years of development experience with Python or Go . Additional experience JavaScript and or Ruby is a plus.
  • Experience with GCP, including GCS, Big Query, Data Studio
  • Experience with various offerings from AWS, including CloudFormation, S3, CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, EMR, Redshift, Data Pipeline, Athena and Kinesis are a plus
  • Experience with offensive security tools is a plus
  • Experience with network discovery and application fingerprinting is a plus
  • Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, GIST and/or Extreme Programming development methodologies is a plus
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. MS Preferred



How you will lead

  • Design/Develop custom services that generate insights about adversary activity against Intuit's ecosystem
  • Design, prototype and develop security applications and integrations supporting the data processing, analytics, and visualization needs of the Adversary Management capabilities.
  • Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and build prototypes and proofs of concepts (POC's).
  • Strong implementation aptitude to translate objectives into a scalable solution to meet the needs of the end customer while meeting deadlines.
  • Work cross-functionally within Adversary Management organization as well as teams across Intuit: Architecture, Product Management, QA/QE, product development, and business unit security teams to drive forward results
  • Roughly 70-85% hands-on coding
