ezCater is expanding its Engineering team and we are looking for smart, friendly, and collaborative technologists to help us reach our goals while delivering real impact to the business. The marketplace teams work closely with our product team to get people in the door and successfully through the ordering process. This role focuses on building the systems to make that happen quickly and efficiently.

Do you enjoy working on systems that are directly used by customers? The Marketplace Experience team is responsible for the core buying experience of ezCater. You will work together on testing new and interesting functionality to make the customer's experience as seamless and efficient as possible.

What You'll do:

• Develop with skills across the full stack - Ruby (Rails), Javascript with a dash of Typescript (React), CSS to build new features and services as we expand the foundation of our e-commerce systems
• Measure and improve performance in every facet (we believe speed is a feature and core skill)
• Build a solid foundation to support our catering product portfolio
• Embrace exciting scale challenges.

What You Have:

• 5+ years of professional web development experience, ideally using React on the front end and/or Ruby on Rails on the backend
• Strong experience and working knowledge of CSS fundamentals
• Solid SQL / relational database experience (Postgres is what we use, but not required)
• A strong appetite for learning, experimentation, relentless curiosity and an ability to leverage what you learn to make our products better
• A thirst for personal and professional growth
• A friendly, flexible, and pragmatic disposition.

The national cash compensation range for this role is $143,000 - $184,000 per year*

*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
