Job Responsibilities

In this role you will perform full-cycle software development work as a member of a team on various projects. The work focuses on developing and supporting Next Generation Link 16 software development, products, and related activities. We're looking for a candidate with a strong embedded software development background as well as team lead, or technical mentorship experience. The ideal candidate will be someone capable of working with a cross functional team and supporting initial development/debug/bring-up as well as long term product roadmap development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of C++ development experience
  • Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional team
  • Ability to produce supporting SW documentation & lead code reviews as needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • US government position. US Citizenship required
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain



Preferences

  • Knowledge/Experience with Link-16 networks
  • Experience with Agile Development principals
  • Familiarity with C++, Python, C#, and Linux
  • Well-versed with Operating systems, user space/kernel device drivers, embedded software development and software integration
  • Familiarity with CMake, ARM cross-compile tools and embedded Linux tools
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Experience guiding software design & architecture as a software lead
  • Experience with network programming
