The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Native Platform Engineering, you will have the unique opportunity to expand your development experience with modern cloud application solutions. You will enable thousands of developers to rapidly develop and deliver API microservices that will impact the user experience for fidelity.com and the Fidelity mobile application. Empower the teams that support $11 trillion in assets and an average of 2.8 million trades per day. From day one you will have an immediate impact on accelerating our cloud journey and fueling our growth.

• Gain cloud native development skills from a passionate and experienced leadership team
• Design and build the tools Fidelity developers count on for delivery of REST and GraphQL APIs
• Join a vibrant community of developers in their quest to build shared technology
• Innovate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Employ problem solving skills to analyze sophisticated engineering challenges

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 2+ years of programming experience in Java, Node.js, Go, or comparable
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Passion for CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices to increase delivery velocity
• Leverage observability and performance data to improve uptime and scale
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• (Preferred) Experience with cloud providers and platforms such as AWS and Azure
• (Preferred) Kubernetes operations and application delivery knowledge
