The Product Development team is a part of the Farming Solutions & Digital group that designs and builds customer-facing digital solutions that maximize value for farmers and advisors. Our work helps fuel and expose Corteva's scientific innovation.
The Senior Software Engineer owns the team's front end UI/UX components. As a member of our team you are responsible for developing innovative and insightful experiences for Corteva agronomists and seed sales representatives. A successful senior frontend software engineer loves to find problems, innovate solutions, and drive the team towards its technical goals.
Responsibilities:
How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!

• Author well-structured, extensible, well tested code
• Work across design, product, and engineering to build responsive and adaptive React based UIs
• Write and review technical design documentation
• Continuously find and implement improvements to the technical aspects of the product, balancing stability with the cutting edge.
• Mentor other engineers on the team, cross mentor other senior engineers
• Able to plan and execute complex projects, i.e. Able to breakdown a large body of work into smaller workable chunks

Qualifications
What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

• 5+ years experience developing web applications
• Expertise in Typescript, Javascript and React
• Experience as a team lead or tech lead on a customer facing web application
• You are looking forward to work alongside a driven team that takes ownership of the work they do
• You have strong communication skills with a positive and solution oriented mindset
• Self-motivated and self-managing

Preferences:

• Experience with GIS feature layer and raster processing and manipulation
• Understanding of agriculture concepts and experience in developing AgTech applications
• Comfortable establishing CI/CD workflows
