About the Role

Caribou  is looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to help build best in class products and systems for optimizing our customers' vehicle finances. As a member of Caribou’s Engineering team you will be building and maintaining software using the latest technologies available and have an opportunity to impact how your team builds software .The Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack will:

  • Develop and contribute to modular frontends that enable product experimentation
  • Create custom web experiences for public end-users and enterprise users
  • Build web experiences in modular form for partners that can be white-label or embeddable
  • Create web products that use state of the art tracking and instrumentation for analytics and triage
  • Participate in project planning
  • Develop and contribute to microservices
  • Design data schemas that fit into a domain driven architecture
  • Coach other engineers on your team

This role can be based out of Caribou offices in Washington, DC; Denver, CO; Austin, TX. Alternatively, the Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack may work remotely from a state where Caribou does business. However, this role will require attendance at occasional in-person team meetings. Caribou currently requires that all personnel and visitors to any of its offices are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.  As a result, candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be eligible for this position (subject to any exemptions or accommodations due to medical or religious reasons).

About You

You expertly balance solving challenges to enable feature development with investing in forward thinking platform technologies and techniques. This means bringing equal parts technical mastery and creative collaboration to the role. You have:

  • 5+ years of work experience working in the domain and tech described above.
  • Passionate software engineer with high standards of craftsmanship

  • Competitive compensation: $160k - $185K annual salary
