Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and support .Net based software that also includes JavaScript, Angular and Typescript
• Establish and maintain the automated testing and deployment process for this software
• Review the system enhancement requests and participate in the system architecture and roadmap planning
• Establish and maintain an on-going assessment and profiling of performance
• Establish and maintain APIs for integrating software with other system components and with 3rd party software
• Advise users (developers) on the best practices and use cases
• Maintain knowledge and proficiency in .NET programming and related frameworks and technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of .NET experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of JavaScript experience
• Knowledge of the following concepts: Object Oriented programming, functional programming, patterns and templates
• Knowledge of the following databases: Sqlite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDb, Vertica or similar
• Knowledge of the following APIs: REST API, MQ API, JSON/XML
• Knowledge of the following SDLC Tools: JIRA, Git, Jenkins or similar

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900.
