Join our team of dedicated, passionate, and creative people who are eager to change the IT industry forever.
About the Role:
Our Device Identity organization is pushing the envelope on how devices, and the users that use them, identify themselves to cloud and other services. Conditional Access, Device Trust and a number of other identity technologies fall into this category. The work we do allows the JumpCloud identity platform to better make decisions about how the user is using a device and what they should be allowed to do.
We’re looking for a senior software engineer to be the next member of our growing Device Identity teams. You’ll be mostly responsible for working with Windows-based clients, however, an interest and knowledge of other languages and systems is very interesting to us as well.
This position will be working at the edge of our current solutions looking to break new ground where perhaps no other vendor has gone before.
Technologies you’ll be working with include Windows Hello, Credential Providers, Web Authentication Brokers, TPMs, virtual smartcards and others. While we’re not expecting knowledge or experience in all of these, we do expect an interest to aggressively learn and work with these technologies and whatever comes next.
The Problems you’ll be solving:
We want to make identity easier, simpler and faster for our users and we want you to help do it. We’re constantly looking at how to keep the user more secure, while making it easier for the user to make the right decisions.
While this role starts with identity, it quickly intersects with a number of other technologies as that identity gets consumed by other services. While others will help to build those other technologies we want you to be thinking about how the entire process can be made better.
