Job Description:

The Role

Fidelity is looking for Senior Full Stack developer to join the Brokerage Technology development team. In this role, you will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Support for Database platforms and REST Web Services supporting a suite of Wealthscape applications using the latest technology stack.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years Oracle and JAVA Development experience required
  • Extensive, hands-on working experience with Relational and NoSQL databases, PL/SQL, SQL, Data Modeling and Shell Scripting
  • Experience developing Java, Spring Framework and REST/SOAP Web Services
  • Experience developing and maintaining Cloud applications (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with CI/CD process (Jenkins, UDeploy, Concourse, Terraform)
  • Exposure to test automation
  • Experience with brokerage and financial services application development a plus
  • Prior experience with Production Support activities is a plus
  • BS with a technology related field is preferred
  • Developing/Deploying software in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues on technical implementation and process improvement
  • Providing original technical solutions to ongoing development efforts and critical initiatives
  • Performing technical and functional analysis for resolving and developing the best delivery approaches based on requirements
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Crafting and maintaining clear and concise user documentation and status
  • Can work in a highly matrixed, agile environment


The Team

As part of the Team, you will provide Development and Support for data integration and services required for numerous Fidelity Brokerage applications. There is a tight integration between the databases and these applications, which leads to significant involvement in both Discretionary Initiatives and Support activities. This candidate will act as a senior developer for an agile scrum team consisting of developers, QA, systems analysts and a squad leader, as well as collaborating across various squads within and outside of the product area to influence technology solutions and improve development processes. Will be supporting and performing all phases of delivery through final implementation, including analysis design, development, unit, integration, performance testing and production install validation.
