Job Description As an experienced member of the Fulfillment & Archive Services team, you will lead an agile team of developers belonging to the largest shared technology product in JPMC. We build and manage enterprise scale critical applications which support all line of business globally, across multiple banking functions and capabilities. Fulfillment & Archive Services enhances the customer journey by offering best in class management of documents, connecting customer and employees to the information they need in a meaningful and intuitive way. You will be required to apply the depth of your knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with many stakeholders daily to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Design/configure, test and implement components in multiple frameworks
  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow and understand and comply with architectural standards in all phases.
  • Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules
  • Lead code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code related issues
  • Mentoring of junior developers
  • Research and prototype new technologies as appropriate.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit testing, documentation and maintenance as appropriate.


Skills Sets:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Enterprise Application Development
  • Experience with Java/JavaScript, J2EE, XML, Web Services/SOA and HTML.
  • Hands on experience in Micro Service
  • Hands on experience with Open source frameworks: Open source frameworks, e.g., Spring (SpringBoot, Springbatch), Hibernate ,JPA
  • Experience with including triggers, stored procedures, queries, etc.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with SVN Source Code management techniques/ tools for software management, Knowledge SDLC tools (JIRA).
  • Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work with diversified multi-location team.
  • Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of product implementation and delivery.
