We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build features and advance the decisioning infrastructure for our consumer lending marketplace. Used by customers and dealerships across the country, this product provides a streamlined workflow for dealerships to get fast financing to their customers. Working with a team of passionate, experienced engineers, you'll work throughout the backend of our stack with technologies such as Python, Django, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and architect high-quality software systems that are maintainable and scalable
• Write clean code to develop high-functioning systems
• Validate functionality of applications and implement automated tests to catch regressions
• Review code and fix bugs
• Collaborate with teammates and internal teams to improve products
• Mentor junior members of the team to follow engineering best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software engineering
• Proficiency with at least one high-level general-purpose language such as Python, Java, C#, Javascript, etc.
• Experience designing and implementing technical solutions
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Solutions oriented attitude with a willingness to take ownership
• Proven communication and collaboration skills
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• BS+ in Computer Science or a related field preferred
