ServiceChannel engineering is looking for an experienced Backend or Fullstack engineer to join our US development teams, working to help us to build cool software and expand our service offerings.ServiceChannel software engineers are responsible for the design and implementation of our solutions using proven software architecture, engineering techniques and sound design principles. Prospective candidates must have extensive experience in developing software as a service (SaaS) using .Net and cloud. They must understand information systems and secure development lifecycles. Deep knowledge of web application flows, components, databases, and security principles are required. The candidate will work on enterprise software, data and other projects executing ServiceChannel's winning product strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Write performant, scalable, efficient , testable, reusable, and maintainable code
• Improve and maintain current software and architecture. Optimize the current platform and its functionality for maximum performance and scalability
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Software Engineers, Product Owners, Project Managers, DevOps, and QA
• Evaluate and explore new technology
• Evaluate and review technical architecture
• Communicate technical concepts to key stakeholders and other members of the team professionally and effectively

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience

• BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field/or equivalent work experience;
• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer with our primary technology stack: Microsoft .Net C#, MS SQL Server, ASP.Net MVC, .Net Core, Elastic Search, Redis
• Experience working with relational databases (SQLServer, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience working with non-relational databases (like Cosmos DB).
• Experience with API development (i.e. REST, OData)
• Understanding of the SDLC process and tooling (JIRA, Github, branching/merging, build systems, CI/CD pipeline technologies)
• Knowledge of the modern best practices for coding, software design, and architecture
• Working experience in cloud technologies and deploying in AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth2 / OpenId etc.
• Experience with the Elastic Stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash)
• Experience with end-to-end solution development, deployment and maintenance
• Solid understanding of DevOPS, and Agile development principles, sprint and kanban approaches.
• Experience with Unit Testing and understanding of Test Automation principles.

• Team player with professional communication and interpersonal skills; able to discuss and clearly explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and non-engineers.
