Do you enjoy taking on complex and ambiguous problems? If yes, consider Azure Core Compute (One Fleet Efficiency Group). We are the very Core of Azure platform. Our group works closely with MSR(Microsoft research) to bring the latest and greatest innovation in Server technologies to our data centers. Currently we are working towards bringing liquid cooled servers to Microsoft's data center. This new technology will fundamentally change how we have been running/managing our data centers. As part of this group you will be working with nearly every internal partner of Azure and will have to come up with creative ways to solve problems to land this new technology in production. In this role, you will be working to build the core infrastructure services that enable hosting control and data plane services on these new servers. You will have to find creative solutions to mitigate risks arising from such fundamental shift in technologies.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to influence core architecture of the Azure stack and design and deliver functionalities end to end. You would have opportunities to demonstrate technical leadership, design distributed systems at scale, and deliver high quality of service through live site excellence.Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to technologies such as Azure, .Net/C#/C++, building applications platforms or frameworks, building scalable services will be an advantage.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
