What You Will Do

• Use Jetpack Compose to create a visually appealing user experience.
• Work with Kotlin to bring new features to VIZIO Mobile as it evolves further into a cohesive experience for IoT devices.
• Work with Android Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and other modern Android development technologies to improve the user experience.
• Take ownership of new features and collaborate across teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and integrate user-friendly experiences for our customers.
• Directly impact the VIZIO Mobile experience for our customers through continuous improvement by incorporating customer feedback.
• Engage with the team to define and mold best practices and review emerging technologies.
• Drive reactive and cross-platform development utilizing KMM.
• Grow with hands-on API development and network programming, integrating with cloud services and embedded devices.
• Build out CI/CD processes and infrastructure with the team, and dive deep into testing paradigms.

About You

• You have a BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of experience in software development and 3 + years in Android development.
  • Experience with Kotlin and Java in large-scale projects.
  • Experience with mobile architecture patterns, software design patterns, reactive frameworks, and multi-threaded environments.
  • Solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to write clean, solid, and testable code while keeping the user experience fast and reliable.
• You have experience or the desire to work hands-on with embedded devices.

For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $ 110,000 /year. The compensation package includes the annual bonus in addition to a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
