FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Software Development in Durham, NC, to work on FIS Software Omni Channel Banking Solutions products including Digital Account Opening, Online Banking, Small Business Account Opening, and MBanker. Participate in all the phases of software development life cycle (requirement gathering, design and analysis, application development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment and production support). Perform product upgrades and enhancements. Convert business requirements to technical requirements. Analyze the feasibility and estimate the story points required for each assigned task for a given sprint. Participate in design review meetings and provide SME advice. Prepare systems design Artifacts including flow charts, model algorithms, and prototypes. Create mock screens for the User Interface (UI)Layer requirements. Prepare technical design documents for each new or modified functionality. Implementing account opening workflow definition using eclipse Oxygen and visual studio code. Troubleshoot emergency software issues, attend related calls and provide workarounds and fixes in live environments. Perform code review. Mentor junior developers. Deploy software build to development and QA Environments. Use Apache Maven and ANT as the build tool to convert the software from code to usable and installable files. Work with the following: HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Java, J2EE, ReST Services, Angular, AngularJS, Spring Framework and MSSQL.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: developing software and applications using JavaScript, Spring and Angular; performing unit testing by writing test cases using Junit frameworks and Web/UI codes; utilizing ReST Services, Angular with Visual Studio Code to build the application with Oracle/SQL server as the system of record; developing ReST services built using Java utilizing Eclipse as the local build tool; utilizing git/bitbucket as version control and JIRA as the story/defect management system to track the changes/defects; and working on cloud hosted applications. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills. 5% of travel is required to various and unanticipated FIS offices and client sites nationally. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible.
