Our Financial Systems Engineering Team is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Workday Integrations Developer. This person will have a deep breadth of expertise, skills, and experience to develop solutions for our Accounting (financials) organization. You will be asked to bring your knowledge of technology to complex problems, as well as to develop elegant solutions delivered effectively to the business partners and customers who use them. Be ready to demonstrate how your programs are delivered effectively, on time, on budget, and with the maximum impact to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in an Agile software delivery environment on a highly collaborative Agile team
  • Develop and document requirements and functional specifications, develop test conditions, conduct acceptance testing, and implement solutions
  • Develop Workday integrations between new or existing systems, both internal and external
  • Develop Workday custom reports and enhancements
  • Develop and execute unit and system test plans
  • Create, edit, and remove organization security roles for the system and provide support for issues relating to user-based, role based, domain security and business process security Policies in Workday
  • Provide security design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday security into non-production and production
  • Drive cross team design and development via technical leadership and mentoring
  • Help troubleshoot issues and processes, and aggressively drive toward resolutions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of implementing/configuring Workday Security modules that includes 1 full-scale implementation
  • 3+ years of experience developing and supporting Workday Studio Integrations
  • 3+ years of strong Workday development experience using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), calculated fields, transformations, and custom reports
  • Proficient in the current Workday Finance applications (Security, Reporting, Business Processes, Suppliers, Customer, Project, Business Assets, APIs, XML, and data extracts/transmissions)
  • Assist with the development of Workday Security training materials and delivery to increase knowledge across the team
  • Understands Workday security domains and how to maintain security on business processes
  • Understanding of security groups and roles and assignment of those roles
  • Understanding of system architecture components in a multi-tier, multi-platform systems
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to function effectively with minimal supervision in a high-demand environment
  • Well-versed in Agile development methodologies including Scrum best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong creativity, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Adapt to change effectively, always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
  • A collaborative team player with patience, understanding, flexibility, and a good sense of humor

  • Ability to travel (approximately 10%)

Strong preference will be given to candidates with any of the following:

  • Experience with Workday technologies - Web Service Application Program Interface (APIs), Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) Report Writer, Cloud Connect, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XSLT
  • Experience with Workday’s Financial Management suite – Accounting Center, Prism, Banking & Settlements, Supplier, Supplier Accounting, Business Assets, Projects, Customer Accounts, Tax, Financial Accounting.
  • Experience with SOX principles and concepts
