MetroStar Systems is seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer - Angular with a passion for Modern JavaScript and keeping on top of the latest development trends. You’ll help engineer tools to modernize outdated paper-based process into digital that directly impact nationwide agencies via cutting edge cloud and software development practices. You're a great fit if:

• You are passionate about Modern JavaScript
• You incorporate DevOps best practices for code deployment and are a stickler for good clean code

You'll love this opportunity if: (This is the stuff you MUST have to be a fit)

• You have 6-10 years of experience as front end developer
• You have experience delivering application solutions with Angular JavaScript framework 
• You have experience in developing full stack solutions
• You have experience with modern HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS
• You have experience working in Agile environment participating in ceremonies, producing artifacts, work in a team
• You have experience with backend development such as Java, .NET, web services, interfaces, data stores
• You have experience with modern source code repositories, such as Git
• You have a bachelor’s degree in STEM and ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability

We'll REALLY love you if: (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out)

• You have experience with Typescript, RxJS, NgRx, NodeJS, testing tools and frameworks, databases, and communications protocols
• You have experience with containerized and microservice development
• You have experience with OpenShift, AWS, Azure platforms
• You have either/both: Agile certification; Developer certification

• Developing advanced front-end solutions as part of a team
• Participation in Agile ceremonies and processes
