SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) business unit, USG Mission and Information Technology division provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as system engineering, cloud computing, cyber security, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence / machine learning, application development, SecDevOps, network operations, and secure communications.

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed professional to fill the role of Lead ETL Developer to lead our ETL team in Chantilly, VA. This position will require the ability to understand, develop, and enhance all parts of the data pipeline to include ingestion, procession, storage, and exposing data for consumption. The developer will be responsible for communicating system features and concepts to other users, developers, and program management. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting team developers, debugging various development and O&M processes, and system documentation.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related or an additional 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience
• Working experience with Java
• Relational database experience with MySQL

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with AWS SDK Programming, Python, HBASE, MapReduce (EMR), HDFS, Gradle, Avro, Mongo, Git, JProfiler
• Experience using Elasticsearch
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) DevOps Professional certification or equivalent
• Use of Amazon Web Services such as S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and EC2
• Experience working with Spring Boot
