What you should have
- Curiosity about how things work and love to share that knowledge with others
- Ability to manage tooling, automation and/or services in one or multiple scripting languages (e.g. Go, Python)
- Experience deploying and managing services in a Cloud environment
- Ability to troubleshoot production and escalation issues
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in NOC engineer, working in a team environment
- Experience deploying, managing and debugging server software on Linux
- Experience working and using services by AWS, GCP and other cloud providers
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting issues with Mongo, Elasticsearch Clusters
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools like Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash
Bonus Points
- Experience managing and releasing software using Docker containers
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with deployment automation/configuration management (Chef, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or others)
