Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

• You will be responsible for: 

  • Designing, building, and deploying the “Now Learning” application 
  • Managing high volume transactions, and their integration with other applications 
  • Converting business requirements into code 

• You will be building world-class applications around ServiceNow’s learning space 

• You will identify the problems before they occur and recommend solutions 

• Help guide junior developers and provide knowledge transfer 

• Work with Stake Holders to communicate problems and solutions to Sr. Leadership 

• Can think “big picture”

  • (e.g., think about the user experience, think about the end-to-end process, not just your requirement) 

• Has high coding standards & can maintain them even when the pressure is on 

• Is a developer at heart & thinks OOB or configuration first 

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has: 

• Experience in ServiceNow Service Portal and custom applications development
  • Ideally 3+ years' experience 

• Experience in the development of ServiceNow scoped applications using: 

  • JavaScript - Script Includes, UI Actions, etc. 
  • Flow Designer OR WorkFlow 

• Has technical understanding of building and integrating REST/SOAP-based APIs into ServiceNow. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT 

  • OR 5 years' related experience 

• Strong communications and presence 

• Familiarity with an Agile environment 

Nice to have in the following areas:

• Learning Experience Portal (LXP) 

• Java 

• Project Management 

• Previous experience with partner implementations
