Senior Software Engineer - Server

Role Overview
You will report to the Technical Director and we are looking for an experienced Senior Server Engineer to build the backend efforts for our newly announced title, Table & Taste. You will experience using PHP at scale and will building distributed systems at a very and also guide important discussions around the architecture and systems design of the backend
Responsibilities:

  • Work with QA to help establish test cases
  • Maintain existing codebase with other team members
  • Increase and fine tune code for performance
  • Mentor other backend engineers
  • Lead development efforts with the team and with team


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recent PHP development experience in mobile gaming
  • Expertise with PHP frameworks, HTML, CSS, andJavaScript
  • Experience with databases and AWS services
  • Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, algorithms, data structures and shell scripting
  • Passionate about building games that will be played by millions around the world
  • BS in Computer Science or Game Development or equivalent experience
